Raspberry Pi 3: Enabling VNC

Quick guide to enabling VNC allows for remote debugging / a way of working on a raspberry pi without actually sitting next to it. After having connected to a wifi network we can begin enabling the VNC connections.

$ sudo raspi-config
Advanced Options
Enable VNC # then select the yes option

VNC is now enabled

If you go find out your IP you can type

> ifconfig | grep wlan0 -2

this should list both the inet and inet6 ip addresses for your wlan0 network interface
